Flying internationally in the pandemic meant Haneda Airport was rather empty.
The lie-flat seats were average with no separation walls, and arguably not up to international standard in Business Class in 2021, and ANA is offering better seats on other routes. The
plane was not busy due to governmental pandemic restrictions - that was a bit of a compensation though.
One was provided with a good amenity kits; pretty much same as before the pandemic.
The drinks selection was only slightly reduced compared to previously.
The food menu for the main meal was enticing and not much reduced compared to pre-pandemic days.
The cold food was delicious and very fresh
The main course was served hot and of excellent.
The cheese course was superb in the careful and knowledgeable choice as well as in the quality of the product.
The breakfast menu was again enticing.
An absolutely delightful breakfast.
The airline provided a reduced choice of food and beverages, but still of good quality compared to pre-COVID-19 pandemic times. The entertainment programme was good. The staff
were wonderful and very attentive. It is possible to have an enjoyable flight on ANA in a pandemic. 3.75/5
