Askur Yggdrasil Gin Review:  The colour is clear, the bouquet is a full-on juniper blast with some lemon and white pepper; in the mouth there is licorice, orange zest, with white pepper minerals, and a long finish of 90 seconds.   This gin is clean and simple, but with a creative twist.  3.75/5

Askur Yggdrasil Gin is a Nordic-Inspired London Dry Gin made in Iceland with a base of seven times distilled French wheat.

Hervé Graser, the distiller in the French Sucrerie Distillerie. finalises the distillation on a copper pot, using botanicals sourced from mostly-non Nordic countries (China, France, Spain and the “Mediterranean” for example)
