The opening blast displays hints of Meyer lemons with bergamot and a slightly crisp amber note, but soon darker spicy aromas take over. The spiciness is not peppery
or of the chili type, bit quite smooth, more like the wafting aromas in an oriental spice market.
Somewhere in this mix the rose is present, but on me it is not an actual straightforward rose note, but the spiciness adopts the slightly indolic spicy smell
of a rose, somewhere a bit like a mix between a Bulgarian and a Turkish rose.
The later stages see the rise of an anise impressions, which is the other core contributor to this olfactory experience. It is not very intense, but blends in
nicely with the other components.
I get moderate sillage, very good projection, and nine hours and longevity on my skin.
A nice autumn scent, rich with some depth, and with enough of a rose in it to satisfy. Good performance, but limited development.
