Château Tour Prignac

Owned by the conglomerate Group Castel.

2015 56% Merlot, 44% Cabernet Sauvignon:  Dark red colour. A short but pleasant cassis bouquet; and on the  hints of blueberry, dark chocolate, and good tannins that are not too strong, with quite a balanced acidity.  Towards the end it is a touch sharp and lacking some texture; I get a finish of thirty seconds.  3.25/5
