DOMAINE DE CHEVALIER white

2012 Domaine de Chevalier Pessac-Leognan Blanc: The pleasant bouquet takes time to develop. Tasting it I get a herbal core with ample of acid and an underlying wood in the background. It has a good balance, and a nice Sauvignon Blanc aroma is dominant. Later on there is a green tinge with touches of apricot and peach, with a strong mineral backbone. The duration of the finish is about 30 seconds. 3.5/5
