2014 Flowers Camp Meeting Ridge Chardonnay Sonoma County; estate bottled from an organic vineyard and matured in French oak:

One notices the medium yellow golden colour; then the nose, which exudes a vegetal and slightly smoky aroma.  Additionally, there were fresh pears with a dusty undertone, which combines with hints of onion skin.  Interesting.  In the mouth: again pears, herbal notes, slightly creamy and not very fresh; with a somewhat flat finish of thirty seconds.  The bouquet is the best part.  At its peak.  Drink until 2027.   3/5
