2016 Forster Ungeheuer Riesling Trocken Pfalz Reichsrat von Buhl Deidesheim:
The colour is a pale yellow. The nose exuded lemons and fresh pears. On the palate we had lemons, touches of herbs, pears, with quite a bit of a spritz. It lacked depth and texture, but made a refreshing drink with quite a lot of acid. The finish lasted 30 seconds.
Drink until 2029.

2017 Forster Ungeheuer Riesling: a beautiful Riesling bouquet, with flavours of lemon crispness, a pleasant caramel with a well-balanced acidity, and a finish of 30 seconds. A very good dry Riesling. Jaunary 2019. Drink - 2027 January 2019 3.5/5
Forster Ungeheuer Beerenauslese
1997 Forster Ungeheuer Beerenauslese Deidesheim Rheinpfalz: A faded bouquet is followed by a pleasant mix of a touch of
orange with hints of caramel and a decent Botrytis load. It is, however, quite thinned out now, but still a good drop. A fading dowager. Drink now. January 2019.

Forster Ungeheuer Trockenbeerenauslese
1997 Reichsrat von Buhl Riesling Trockenbeerenauslese Deidesheim Rheinpfalz: A beuatiful and rich bouquet. The colour is dark, has a thick black syrupy consitency, the flavour of honeyed fruit is a bit thinned out but with a good Botrytis present. The finish lasts for about 30 seconds. Overall very good still. January 2019, drink now. 4/5
