Glenmorangie Extremely Rare Highlands ABV43%: 15 years in ex-bourbon casks, 1/3 into sherry casks for another three years.
Light gold colour, with a nose of grapefruits, toasted bread, mint chocolate , sweet oranges briefly and then pepper, toffee and a bit of a smoky tonka.
In the mouth it was creamy with nectarines, vanilla, yoghurt toasty oak orange teacake caramelised sugar and biscuits; I got a finish of 50 seconds.
