Hugel gentil

2001 Hugel Gentil: an Edelzwicker blend of Alsatian 'noble' grapes ('Edel').  Mid-yellow colour, a bouquet with hits of citrus; in the mouth some apple, citrus and hints of mild spiciness, a good balance, limited acidity with touches of discreet sweetness and a finish of 30 seconds.  Very agreeable.  3/5
