A landmark location in Grad Central Station and near a good wine merchant, this as a nice hotel but somewhat bland in design. The lobby was refurbished some
years ago. The service always was good, but never exceptional. Essentially a good business hotel. The building at E42nd Street is due to be pulled down and the hotel is said to
be closed in the not to near future. We had a number of stays over the last fifteen years. 3.75/5.
