In 1900 the Paris branch was established. in 1976 the Paris shop was sold to Hermes. The London shop of John Lobb Ltd remains independent as a family
business making bespoke shoes only. The Hermes-owned business makes bespoke shoes in their atelier in Paris. In 1982 Hermes added ready-to-wear collections under the John Lobb
name.
