2015 Müller-Catoir Herzog Rieslaner Trockenbeerenauslese Haardt Pfalz: This drop is already very dark after only four years of age. The bouquet is deep and somber; in the taste notes the Riesling dominates and five a decent acidity, whilst the Silvaner component adds a controlled sweetness. Dominant is a peachy note, with a honeyed undertone and a rich note of nectar; the finish is adequate; I get about thirty seconds. A lovely TBA, but a bit less intense and rich that one expect form a top TBA, but a very good wine overall, especially for those who like their TBAs not too heavy. Drink until 2022.
