Nishi Shuzo SHOCHU

Based in Kagoshima on Kyushu Island, Nishi Shuzo specialises in Shochu made from sweet potatoes.

It is made from Koganesegan sweet potatoes, a specialty of the producer, and yellow koji fungus.

A clear colour, with a fresh citrus-influenced bouquet, and a taste of sweet lemons and pears, with a finish of 30 seconds.  3.25/5
