Perry Ellis for Men (original)

This is about the original edition, launched in 1985 and discontinued now

The top note carries off a classic bergamot and galbanum, with a touch of carnation adding a flowery touch temporarily.

After a while,  the heart of this scent cones to the fore: Moss, moss, clean but not really sharp and in the later drydown , and never too obtrusive.

A classic fougère this is, straightforward, not clamoring for attention, and exuding quiet confidence. Limited silage and projection, but around four hours of longevity, although it lingers for another four hours very close to my skin.  3.25/5
