Rampur PX Sherry Cask from Uttar Pradesh in India matured in ex Bourbon and Pedro Ximénes Sherry Casks ABV 45% (Rampur was established in 1943): a light amber colour; on the nose fruity, with fresh lychees and a bit of a Cognac character.  Then on the palate ripe apricot with sweet caramel cookies, on a background of wood and raisins, without without any peat.  It is a bit linear at times, with a nice finish of 50 seconds.  June 2021.  3.5/5
