SECOND SKIN

BY TED BAKER

A bright opening of bergamot with touches of lemon are a the core of the top notes.  A fresh and optimistic start.

The drydown adds slightly crispier spicy tunes due to an equally bright cardamon, which is assisted by touches of nutmeg.  hers come and go, mainly sage and touches of a green lavender, but the latter is rather weak on me.

The base is mainly a mix of white musks with an undertone of light amber.

I get soft sillage, adequate projection initially, and three hours of projection on my skin.  Overall a bit disappointing especially in the second part, and the performance is poor.  2.75/5
