2018 Southern Right Sauvignon Blanc Walker Bay at Hemel-en-Aarde/Hermanus of the Western Cape region in South Africa: alas a composite cork.  The colour was a  pale yellow; the bouquet was a bit thin with a green tinge and hints of gooseberries.  On the palate lemons, green apples, with an undertone of gooseberries.  It has a touch of a fizzy spritz, with a reasonably balanced acid structure and a finish of 30 seconds.  Pleasantly fresh and balanced quite well.  Drink - 2027.  3/5
