An old distillery that goes back to the year 1828 and, according to the website (1), retains the
"complete 100% of the production process on site" - a rare feat these days.

Springbank 21 years old Single Malt (Campbeltown) John Mitchell series ABV 46%:
The age in uncertain, probably in the 1980s.
I displayed a colour of deep and rich ambery gold, with a bouquet of dusty molasses, earthy wood, caramel, Gentiane, and a touch of sweet smoke.
On the palate it developed caramel, honey, wet earth, and woods. It was smooth, with a deep flavour, a nice texture and quite intense; with a stimulating and
impressive of 70 seconds.
Quite an excellent Campbeltown Single Malt. 4.25/5
