Unlined Suits

One way of making suits, especially the suit jackets, cooler is to reduce the lining to where is is strictly needed, e.g.  to support the pockets. 

Note how the lining does NOT continue all around the back of the jacket. This lack of the additional layer of the lining allows the jacket to circulate the air better and keeps the wearer cooler..
