2015 The Eyrie Vineyards South Block Dundee Hills Willamette Valley Oregon (composite cork): The colour is a pale ruby, and the nose is mainly composed of cherries and blackberries.  In the mouth we got  cherries, redcurrants and gooseberries, with  prominent touches of acid in the background.  The is a cautiously developing sweetness that becomes stronger with time in the glass, and then a slightly tannic undertone also appears.  With air it becomes stronger and fuller-bodied with a finish of 40 seconds.  A bit flat initially, but the developing nicely with time.  Drink now - 2027.  3.5/5
