VOLLEREAUX CHAMPAGNE

NV Vollereaux Brut Rosé Rosé de Saignee, made from Pinot Noir grapes: the colour is a quite rich strawberry pink.  The bouquet is composed of redcurrant, strawberries, with lemons contributing a fresh note; there is some mineral i  the background.  On the palate we got the strawberries and the lemons again, as well the minerals.  It is fruity but not that sweet, and not very intense, with a finish of 40 seconds.   3.5/5
