Medium brown colour with a darkish-orange tinge. The nose includes oak and an orange touch. On the palate here is orange, wood, a herbaceous
undertone with touches if iris, grain, a subtle spiciness, prunes, pipe tobacco and lots of vanilla towards the end. This is rather a smooth, even creamy whisky that might lack some
nuances, but it is rich and intense. I get a finish of sixty seconds.
Not a fancy or pretentious drop, but a very decent Bourbon it is indeed. 3.75/5
